HOW DOES IT WORK
travel reservations are extremely easy to make it is easy to book flights and desired seats, however how does it go from being at home with the concept and idea of having that seat to purchasing a ticket which will guarantee you that position to your final destination. the way it works is that there are a number of different procedures and methodical steps that must be followed to ensure that the booking is accurate and validated. These specific steps are listed below:
1. first of all the customer must check to see if the seat the would like is still valid, this is usually done whilst online and will allow the customer to click and access the seat they want if no one has previously bought the seat before them.
2. if the seat is available then the transaction will continue, however if the seat in which they desired is not available they are unable to select the seat so they will not be able to proceed meaning they will need to chose a seat in which is vacant.
3. The seat will be temporarily reserved to that intended customer until they complete the EFTPOS transaction is is not entirely guaranteed their yet
4. the customer is then brought to the next page where they are asked to enter their details such as their name, address, post code as well as their payment details this information is all displayed on the computer screen and is easy to understand and read systematically filling out all their personnel details
5.After all their details have been entered the payment details are collected as required.
6. Then the transaction is processes and instant payment as required directly to the vendors account.
7. if this is successful and payment is approved then the conformation on the reservation is permanent meaning that no other party can reserve that seat and it is unavailable to everyone else due to payment already occurring, this is to ensure that double booking does not occur and issues do not arise on boarding
8. the confirmation of the reservation is then displayed to the customer through the use of receipts it allows the customer to print off a copy of their payment to show that it i their seat and they have paid for it this is to ensure that their is proof that it is their seat and displays that they have paid.
